  1. Thats a pretty nice airbrush you got, those are really well built. The compressor I show you in this vid is about as cheap as I can recommend for what you want. The bit where I mention the regulator is the PSI controller. I typically use 25-30 PSI with my 0.2 and 0.3 sized airbrushes. I do a walkthrough of features of this compressor in part 8.

  2. See some of the other comments below. It’s not good for doing delicate work. Might be good if you just wanted to spray something for DIY.

  3. i have just got the airbrush set with the tank you pointed in this vid, haven’t used it in anger yet as im still waiting for the paints to be delivered, have you ever used AV premium airbrush paint. rayman check the regulator is tight and the safety valve on the side is ok, if not KMS are meant to have a good return policy, as it should not hiss.

  4. There’s like a small pin at the bottom that you press when the compressor is on. It will force air and water out of the trap. I’ll include this in the next vid thanks.

  5. Really enjoy your tutorials. I am like you, wish I would have got an air-compressor w/tank, but o-well. I am just starting out, so your vids help out tremendously. Thanks, Keith

  6. Another great video thank you much appreciated 🙂 I have never airbrushed before but I am looking forward to the new art form for me. Looking forward to your next video,
    Cheers.

  7. Thanks for the advice. I will watch your other videos. I appreciate you taking the time to share information on airbrush bits and pieces.

  8. Brilliant, i’m sitting here with a dozen ebay tabs open, had definitely decided to go with the tank as well, and a brush with a MAC valve, so you’ve won me over on it now mate. thanks a bunch.. now to watch your next vid to hear what i’m in for..lol

  9. dude you should run down to the hardware store like right now and grab a tank. i’m not sure about over there, but in the states they’re retarded cheap for like massive fucking tanks. run your compressor in a different room, and keep the tank in the room you’re spraying in. you might want to grab an extra regulator so you can keep your reservoir at like 90psi, or however high it goes.

  10. hi, great viedo. but i got a air compressor home i wonder can i use this one for Airbrush painting? Or it is too much power for painting kits? i am a beginner. information about air compressor is down there.

(8 gallons, 125 max working PSI, 2 Running HP, 4.5 SCFM@90 PSI, 5.5 SCFM@40 PSI,88 dB(A)sound level, 120 volts. input power: 14amps/60HZ, RPM3360, air outlet: 1/4”-18 NPTF, power cord 6ft long) can i use this one for Airbrush painting? Or it is too much power for painting kits?

  11. Give it a go at 20psi and see how it does. I’d personally want something small like the one I have. I presume the one you are talking about is massive?

  12. hi, i want to try giving airbrushing a shot on gundam models and saw a master g23 airbush on ebay that comes with a portable compressor but im not sure if this is the right choice for gundam models. below is the information for the air compressor:

    Model TC-22 AirBrush-Depot Compressor
    • Portable Mini 12V DC Airbrush Compressor
    • with direct plug in 110V AC Adapter. 18 PSI

    please help! thanks so much!

  13. I wouldn’t recommend that one you mention because I don’t think you will get a smooth airflow. It will work, but I think you will be disappointed with how the paint sprays on to the model.

  14. I already have a Air Compressor its a Task Force I think its like a 2.5 HP and 125 max PSI. Do you think that will be alright to use for airbrushing?
